There's something about engagement shoots that just makes me so excited to be a photographer. Jenn and Ben's engagement session at Echo Park Lake was no exception! It was an amazing day full of good laughs, love, and of course, some seriously beautiful golden hour moments. Echo Park Lake was the perfect spot for this engagement shoot, it's got that perfect mix of nature and city vibes, and Jenn and Ben were the perfect couple to make it all come to life.

Echo Park Lake: A Gem in the Heart of LA

Echo Park Lake is such a gem in the heart of LA. You've got the peaceful lake, the greenery, and that stunning view of downtown in the background. It's the best of both worlds, and we definitely took full advantage of it! From the swan boats to the palm-tree-lined paths, the location gave us so many awesome opportunities for photos.

Jenn and Ben: Couple Goals

Jenn and Ben are the definition of couple goals. Their chemistry was instant. I barely had to direct them because they were so in sync with each other. Whether they were laughing, chatting, or just enjoying the moment, it was obvious that they were totally comfortable together. And that made my job super easy!

Their style was laid-back but still super cute, which made for the most natural and fun photos. It took zero effort to get their personalities in every shot and got us a ton of great photographs.

The park is laid out perfectly for a quick photo session, so we started at one end and made our way around, following the main path and stopping at every little sun-drenched spot along the way to capture some great shots until our time was up.

These two were so easygoing and just up for whatever, which made the shoot feel like a fun adventure rather than a "formal" photo session. From the quiet moments to the playful ones, the day couldn't have played out any better.
