Photographing The Brothers That Just Do Gutters Ribbon Cutting in Van Nuys, CA

The Brothers That Just Do Gutters - Sign

As I’ve been getting more involved with my local chamber of commerce, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with some incredible local businesses. Recently, I photographed the ribbon cutting for The Brothers That Just Do Gutters in Van Nuys, CA—a growing business bringing top-notch gutter solutions to Los Angeles homeowners.

Celebrating a New Local Business

The ribbon cutting was hosted by the Sherman Oaks Encino Chamber of Commerce and was a fantastic way to welcome The Brothers That Just Do Gutters into the community. As part of the ceremony, the business owners received their official certificates of recognition, something that’s traditionally presented to new businesses by local representatives and chambers across Los Angeles. These certificates symbolize their commitment to serving the community and becoming an active part of the local economy.

The vibe at the ribbon cutting was super positive. Chamber members, local reps, and neighbors all came out to show their support, and it was easy to see how excited everyone was to welcome a new business to the area. The Brothers That Just Do Gutters are already making a great impression, and events like this remind me how cool it is to see local businesses become part of the community.

A Hands-On Gutter Demo

One of the highlights of the event was the gutter demo they set up in the back of their truck. All of us were able to see firsthand how their systems work, what makes their fabrication process different, and why investing in reliable gutters is so important here in Southern California. It was both educational and impressive, giving everyone a sense of the professionalism and expertise this team brings to their work.

Building Local Connections

Events like this are exactly why I wanted to get more involved with the chamber of commerce. Not only do they give me the chance to meet and support other local businesses, but they also allow me to capture moments that highlight community spirit and growth. Photographing this ribbon cutting wasn’t just about documenting the day—it was about being part of a network that celebrates small business success.
