A Brand Story: Capturing the Essence of Bubles Champagne

Every branding shoot tells a story. Some are sleek and modern, others nostalgic and timeless. This one for Bubles Champagne was the perfect balance of both. Organized by Theresa from Wedding Vibe Central and hosted by Maya, the founder of Bubles Champagne, this session brought together creativity, collaboration, and golden California light to showcase a brand built on celebration and connection.

The Creative Spark

A few weeks before the shoot, Maya, Theresa, and I met up to scout the location and brainstorm how we wanted everything to come together. We walked through Maya’s home in Montecito Heights, taking in the views and natural light at different times of day, thinking through how the champagne carts could interact with the space.

That planning session was where the vision really started to form. We wanted something that felt elegant but grounded, elevated but approachable—something that would reflect the heart of the Bubles Champagne brand. Maya’s home itself offered the perfect canvas. With its lush greenery, warm textures, and panoramic views of the DTLA skyline, it felt cinematic from every angle.

The Afternoon Light

By the time shoot day arrived, we knew golden hour would be our main character. The light that cuts across Montecito Heights in the late afternoon is unmatched. It painted everything with a warm glow that felt dreamy and romantic, perfect for our vision.

When I pulled up to Maya’s house that afternoon, the energy was already buzzing. Maya and Theresa were setting up the two Bubles Champagne carts, each styled with that signature vintage-inspired aesthetic that defines the brand. Between the soft florals, the elegant glassware, and the polished finishes of the carts themselves, every detail looked like it had stepped right out of a magazine.

Maya’s home provided multiple gorgeous backdrops, a spacious patio that caught the light perfectly, a nice clean black wall framed by lush greenery, and a small terrace with an unbeatable skyline view. It was clear from the start that this location wasn’t just a setting; it was an extension of the brand itself.

Collaborating with Intention

Theresa from Wedding Vibe Central has such a great sense of style and storytelling, and she knows how to make every element look cohesive while still feeling spontaneous. For this shoot, she and Maya worked together to style the carts, models, and decor so that the entire setup told a story.

My role as the photographer was to translate that vision into imagery and highlight what makes Bubles Champagne unique while still keeping everything relaxed and organic. Together, we aimed to blend brand photography and lifestyle storytelling, creating visuals that could live across social media, websites, and print.

We brought in two models to represent a modern bride and groom. They instantly clicked with the camera, which gave the shoot a natural feeling. They interacted with the carts the way a real couple would. Sharing a toast, laughing between takes, and really just enjoying the moment. Those unplanned reactions are where the brand’s personality really shines through.

Bringing the Brand to Life

As a Los Angeles brand and wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to that intersection where product and emotion meet, where a brand stops being just a service and starts feeling like an experience. That’s exactly what I wanted to convey for Bubles Champagne.

The carts themselves were the centerpiece, each one designed with incredible attention to detail. Maya’s aesthetic is a mix of vintage romance and modern elegance, and her eye for design shows up in every curve, logo placement, and decorative accent.

I focused on capturing the way light moved across the glassware, the shimmer of the champagne, and the rich textures of the cart finishes. Every element was designed to tell a story, to make viewers feel like they were part of a celebration rather than just looking at one.

Throughout the shoot, the Golden DTLA skyline became our anchor point. From certain angles, it peeked through the trees in the background, grounding the images in that unmistakable Los Angeles identity. It was the perfect balance between natural beauty and urban sophistication, just like the Bubles brand itself.

The Golden Hour Glow

Some of my favorite shots came toward the very end of the session. The couple shared a quiet moment beside one of the carts after an exciting pyramid pour, with the skyline glowing behind them and the last light wrapping around their silhouettes. It felt cinematic and intimate at the same time, exactly the feeling we’d envisioned when we first scouted the location.

The Details That Made This Brand Session Work

We incorporated subtle touches of branding throughout the shoot, the Bubles Champagne logo appeared on elegant signage, etched glassware, and a few small props that helped tie the visual identity together. The goal was to make the brand recognizable without it feeling overly promotional.

Using a mix of wide and close-up compositions, I made sure to capture both the atmosphere and the intricate details that make Bubles unique. The bubbling champagne, the reflection of the skyline in a coupe glass, and the subtle glow of sunlight on the carts all became part of the narrative.

By the time the sun dipped below the horizon, the final gallery already felt complete, romantic, joyful, and true to the brand.

Wrapping Up

Once we finished shooting, Maya poured a glass of champagne for everyone, and we toasted to a successful day. It was one of those moments where you can feel the energy of a project coming full circle.

What started as a simple idea over an Instagram DM had turned into a full story, a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and the essence of Bubles Champagne.

Final Thoughts

This session reminded me that great brand photography isn’t just about making something look beautiful. It’s about storytelling and connection. It’s about capturing the feeling behind the brand and translating it into imagery that resonates.

Working with Maya and Theresa was a reminder of how powerful creative partnerships can be. Maya’s passion and vision, paired with Theresa’s direction and styling, made this project flow so naturally from start to finish.

Bubles Champagne isn’t just a business, it’s an experience. It’s about creating moments that feel timeless, elegant, and full of joy. Being part of that story, especially under that golden Montecito Heights light, was an absolute privilege. I couldn’t be more excited to work with them both again in the future, so be sure to keep your eyes open for more soon!
